Pacific Hills is located approximately one mile east of Interstate 5, in South Mission Viejo, South Orange County. There are approximately 1200 single family homes ranging in size from 1500 square feet to over 3700 square feet. Prices in Pacific Hills start around $700,000 with the highest recorded sale near $1,350,000 at the top of the last real estate cycle.

The community was built between 1990 and 1997, by eight different builders: Barratt, Buie, Lewis Homes, UDC, Brighton, Standard Pacific, Kaufman and Broad, and Fieldstone.

Two excellent elementary schools service Pacific Hills youth. Bathgate Elementary is a top rated elementary school in Capistrano Unified School District. Philip J. Reilly Elementary School also scores high marks. Both have been awarded “Blue Ribbon” status. Newhart Middle School, also receives high marks, and is within walking distance for most tweens and teens. Capistrano Valley High School is located approximately 7 miles from Pacific Hills, offering many beneficial programs. Each year, CAPO graduates are among students accepted to excellent colleges across the country including USC, UCLA, Stanford and Harvard, to name just a few!
